The Role

As an Asset Management Expert, you will play a pivotal part in optimising the lifecycle, efficiency, reliability, and financial results of complex utility assets. Your expertise will drive continuous improvements, ensuring compliance and capturing opportunities for innovation and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Optimise asset lifecycle management, reliability, efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Monitor operational, commercial, financial, and EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) performance.
  • Identify performance gaps and lead root-cause analysis and improvement initiatives.
  • Support asset strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and company standards.
  • Build effective relationships with regulators, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across asset management activities.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required. An MBA or relevant professional certifications provide a distinct advantage.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience, with at least 4 years in managerial positions.
  • Extensive understanding of power, energy, and water sector operations.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural or international settings.
  • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic and Qatar/GCC business landscape is preferred.
