The Role

As an HSE Advisor for this essential shutdown project, you will deliver robust health, safety, and environmental support at an operational level. Your contribution will help ensure compliance with all local requirements and industry standards throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a proactive HSE culture during shutdown activities at a power plant site.
  • Ensure all operations comply with Malaysian HSE regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Provide advice and guidance to site teams and contractors on HSE matters.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety briefings, and risk assessments as required.
  • Assist in incident investigation, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support the delivery of HSE training and communication initiatives.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience supporting HSE on power plant, oil and gas, or shutdown projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote safety culture and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
  • Sarawak local candidates preferred.
